Pumpkin flower fritters

Chickpea flour
kallonji spice or crush black peppercorn
sea salt and
a bit of water to make batter –

When batter is thickish like pancake batter dip the flowers whole. Hit up oil in wok for deep fry cuz that’s the only way to cook em – when hot drop the batter coated flowers and keep them rotating till evenly golden brown. Use a sieve to pick up and drop onto paper towels so we can pretend they’re healthier and nom nom while hot mmmm
