[X]Walk Sustainable Wearable Art

On March 3, 2013 by pampi

For SOS’ Wearable Art Show on Wed May 1, I will be presenting “[X]Walk,” a gender-blending play on street-wear.

I plan to mix and match not only the style of clothing but also pull on and mash-up styles from previous centuries and multiple cultures with popular street-wear accoutrements of today. Cave graffiti Ancient tattooery Tribal prints all up for grabs. Cultural appropriation? ha! in the name of pop is anything left sacred? only way to find out: come see! in this show, Nobs and whistles give buttons and notions a knick for their knacks.

Also, be sure to come see these pieces showcased in original performance within an interactive art installation “The Divine Masculine Comes into Age” at The Temple of Infinite Love, Sat May 4, Noon-6.
