Dance Instructor @ Tony Williams Dance Center Summer Dance Camp

Designed and taught summer camp class “Dances of India & the Indian Diaspora” and created a multi-media curriculum for ages 6-8 and 9-14 (Summer 2006).

“Last summer, while I was Director of Development at BalletRox, a local dance non-profit, I oversaw the planning and implementation of the Tony Williams Dance Center Summer Dance Camp. Ms. Das taught a class based on Indian classical dance and the Indian diaspora in the United States. Her planning was detailed and thoughtfully constructed. Her rapport with the children, ages 6 to 14, was positive, warm and supportive. Her attention to creative excellence was unmatched. Overall, her work was of the highest quality. Everyone who worked with her praised her work and many of her students claimed her class to be their favorite.

Ms. Das would be a valuable asset to any artistic and youth program, and so I highly recommend her to your camp. Please do not hesitate in contacting me with any questions.”
